DSO Activation Error - Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT InfoObject 0FISCYEAR

Hi, SCN.

Trying out again as we couldn't get a clear solution for this error/problem. Quite an annoying and weird error. This happens inside our process chain's DSO activation process.
1.) Data is coming from flatfiles (.csv).
2.) Fiscal Variant is maintained as constant in the transformation. Value: K4. (K4 is in T009 also.)
At first, we thought that this is a DSO problem but when we deleted the DSO data and push and activate data again (manually), we're not experiencing this error at all.
Maybe there is still something that we were not able to do or check. Can you please share your experience with this error and how did you solve this error. We would really appreciate it.

Hi Xyruz,

in case it is a classic DSO, you could also execute RSRV for this and check the activation program once.

Otherwise try loading only 2-3 records and then more and more, to see, when this error occurs exactly.

Hi, Martin.

We did this once, fixed it, but we're still experiencing the error.

Thanks.

Which release & SP is your BW system? And classic or advanced DSO?

We are still in SAP BW: 7.5 / SP: 0016. It is a classic DSO.
Thanks for waiting for my reply, Martin.

Hi Xyruz

Have you checked your new data table? Do you have a fiscal year variant on all lines?

What if you run your process chain and when it fails in the activation step you do the activation manually? If it works then there must be an error in the activation program when executed from PC and you need to contact SAP. If it's not working then you need to look at your data again.

Kristian

Have you checked your new data table? Do you have a fiscal year variant on all lines? - Both yes.

What if you run your process chain and when it fails in the activation step you do the activation manually? - Yes.

And yes, it seems that we need to contact SAP now for this problem. Although, we'll try first to recreate the DSO activation process and see if we'll experience it again. I will update this thread.

Thanks, Kristian.
