Cost/Profit centre number validation

Hi Expert,

Need you support in one of my requirement. Can we create validation for cost centre and profit centre number range?

Can we create validation rule where we define number range based on hierarchy. for example cost centre hierarchy A where cost centre will be created between 1000 to 2000 number range.

So any user try to create cost centre out of this number range will get error message to number range 1000 to 2000 allowed.

Same validation is required for profit centre number range.
