TW e-invoice credit memo delay

A credit memo was supposed to be created in Oct. but customer refused to stamp and would like to delay the credit memo until Nov. However, the SAP present a corresponding invoice in Oct and cannot change the date. I am wondering whether I can change the credit memo date to Nov. and why? thanks!
