We used to use validity dates (valid from - valid to) for item pricing within contracts. We now set the valid to date to infinity (12/31/9999). When entering new items, this is the default date.
For multiple items in various contracts, the validity date has expired (those created prior to our change to set them to 12/31/9999). There are thousands, so we're unsure exactly which ones expired until we come across them. 2 questions:
#1 - How do we run a report to return contract lines that shows line validity date? We have a report to do something similar, but this was also returning contracts that is entirely goods and has the Target QTY on the lines empty, regardless if the date needs to be updated.
#2 - Can we somehow mass update all items in a contract to have a validity date of 12/31/9999, or does this need to be done line by line?
