Hi,
When we extract data from SAP to Signavio, there are 2 options.
1. Standard extraction
2. Advanced extraction
Can someone tell me the difference between Standard extraction and Advanced extraction?
Thanks& Regards,
Vinodkumar.
Hi Vinod
In a table's advanced extraction mode, you use a script to specify what data to extract from a table.
In an extraction script, you can specify standard extraction options such as a partition strategy and filters, as well as custom extraction options.
You can decide for each table whether it is configured by script.
A good example when you need to extract data from a table, but also applying a join with another at the moment of the extraction.. to limit the data scope or to used another column from the joined table as a filter : CDPOS with CDHDR (use udate from CDHDR as a filter)..
In standard extraction there is no script, you will just need to select the column you will need from the chosen table and apply filters only on those columns
