Hello.
We have a 3rd party vendor that has its own BTP instance. They will be accessing our on-prem ECC systems via our Cloud Connector. They will be using a system (CPIC) id and password for access. I am concerned about sending that password across the network.
I was thinking I could use Principal Propagation, but I am not sure exactly how that would look/work. The end user scenario with Principal Propagation using Azure AD is clear. I am not sure I can achieve the same thing what a CPIC id is being used.
Has anyone configured such a scenario? Are there other options to prevent the CPIC's password from being sent.
Maybe the just released functionality of Cloud Connector: Authentication Types - Technical User Propagation helps you.
