Asset Management integration with Asset Accounting (PM <-> FI-AA)

Hi,

Regarding our Asset Management linkage to Asset Accounting.

Is anyone aware of any restrictions for the linkage of PM to FI-AA in S/4HANA Public Cloud? / or able to get the integration working successfully?

I have been trialing this today and so far my observations are:

• There is no 'Asset' field in the Technical Objects to manually create the linkage to the Fixed Asset Record.
• When I adapt the UI of the 'Change Technical Object' Web Dynpro app, to try and bring in the Asset field. I can see the field in the Floor Plan Manager and make it visible, but it doesn't seem to save the configuration successfully.
• When trying to create the linkage from the other direction (with the SAP_BR_AA_ACCOUNTANT role), there is no fields in the Fixed Asset masters which allow us to maintain an equipment ID.
• Also, there is no SSCUI to automate the creation of equipment based on Fixed Asset creation.

Has anyone set this integration up or forced it to work with a bit of adaption?

Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

There is no SSCUI in CBC which will automate the creation of equipment from asset master creation or vice versa.
