Desktop Agent 3.0 Extension Chrome & Edge - SAP Process Automation

Good day,

I installed Agent 3, I have the extension active in both Edge and Chrome.

Problem? The Cloud Console does not recognize the Desktop Agent.

I closed, opened again, formatted the laptop and the problem persists.

Maybe it's happening to someone else, I'm hoping we can exchange ideas.

If you know the problem and the solution, I will be very grateful in advance.

Hi Erick, can you confirm the Agent version you have installed?

And, are you behind a proxy or using a VPN?

One more thing: can you check the URL you used to connect the Agent to the Tenant? You should not use the URL from your browser bar.

On your tenant, either go the Agents page, click Add Agent, then copy the URL from the dialog that opens.

Or, go to the Agent Update page, click Go to Download Page, then click the third tile to register your Agent.

Either method will correctly register your Agent, but copying the URL from the browser will not necessarily work.

Hi Martin, sure!

1) 3.7.41

2) No Proxy or VPN, full connection direct to the Internet

3) I used URL from buttom "Register new Agent"

Before 3, I used 2.x.x, and worked perfectly same laptop, same tenant, only version 3 doesn't work.

Hello Eric,

the url you used via "Register New Agent" is meant for Agent 2.x version agents.

For registering Agent 3, Kindly follow the instructions given in our documentation , or via the below screenshot

Steps 1 to 3 Done.

Edge and Chrome tests don't work.

Firewall McAfee off

Uninstaller (full clean with Revo) and reinstall

Nothing, don't work

Errors 1 says: lost connections

Firewall report block from 52.4.101.240

Hi Erick,

Could see that so far all corrective steps are captured in the KBA. Hope you have already processed the steps mentioned herein.

Further to this, will request chaitanyapriya.puvvada to have a look and advise if product team has any further inputs on same error with newer version of agent.
