Data refresh in Q : Current settings and Posting period

Dear all,

In KBA 3070606, I can read the following points :

• Current Settings

• Ensure the manual or automatic synchronization of the production system and the non-production SAP S/4HANA Cloud systems.
• 1. Could you develop this point ? I am not sure to understand what should I check and when ?

• Posting periods

• Ensure the alignment of posting period data in the production system and the non-production systems.
• Should the posting periods be exactly the same in Q and P ? At the moment we have restricted posting periods in P but very unrestrictive in Q. Should we restrict posting periods in Q so that it will be exactly the same as in P ? Would a "Check Your System Readiness" inform us about this point if it is not correctly done ?
