AFC External API for status changes

Dear Experts,

I would like to ask about any possibilities in AFC in Active closing to upload e.g. Excel files to read and update status of the task. I know this option is not standard in the tool. Is any custom development possible? Do you have on the road map any external ways to update statuses except from a directly connected SAP system?

My second question is about the Test tenant for the AFC, does it have any advantages? Maybe upgrades are uploaded in advance to try it, before uploading to Production? Or is it the same as a Production tenant?
