Hi

Both Roadmap Viewer and Implementation portal for SAP S/4HANA cloud are from SAP Activate, offering tasks and deliverables for each phase. What would be crucial differences other than the latter concentrates on Cloud implementation?

@fidy : As far as I know the implementation portal is now based on the SAP Cloud ALM which is based on the SAP Activate Methodology + Best Practices + Project Deliverables. Tagging jan.musil to confirm. This means that using the SAP Cloud ALM and creating a project on the pre-delivered template of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, you will get the tasks, steps, deliverables as per SAP Activate phases and based on the SAP Best Practices in order to manage your implementation project in a harmonized and a seamless way.

You can use the Cloud ALM now for implementation.

You can find more details here -

1. SAP Cloud ALM for Implementation - Expert Portal - https://support.sap.com/en/alm/sap-cloud-alm/implementation/sap-cloud-alm-implementation-expert-port...

2. SAP Cloud ALM for Implementation - https://support.sap.com/en/alm/sap-cloud-alm/implementation.html

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Hi Saumi,

Thank you for your additional info that the portal now on ALM!

Does the ALM more specified version of Roadmap Viewer, focusing on Cloud?

Both offer users deliverable templates, methodologies and tasks to be taken, sample senarios. I still could not see clear difference how users actually utlise the two sites accordingly.

Thank you for your continuous support.

Hi @fidy : The Cloud ALM provides an action oriented mechanism to perform the tasks & deliverables as per the SAP Activate roadmap and based on SAP Best Practices Explorer. Activate Roadmap is a methodology whereas SAP Cloud ALM is a tool which makes the methodology tangible into measurables and quantified actions. Both contains same tasks, accelerators and the deliverables.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Saumi
