Hello,

After the long way to finish install. of the ABAP ver. I logged on using bcuser/minisap. The system creates a short dump after logon for program: SAPLOLEA in module name ac_system_flush.

Anyone seen this before ?

Peter

I'm really not sure how port is relevant.

Hi Rich,

Can u help me in this issue which I am facing in solution manager system?

I am using SOLAR01 transaction code and I can list out the documents uploaded. From there I can see the documents too. But if I am using the internet link to access the same server and when I use SOLAR01 tcode, I can list out the documents. If I am clicking to open any of the documents, its throwing dump error.

"The current application triggered a termination with a short dump.

Category          ABAP Programming Error

Runtime Errors          MESSAGE_TYPE_X

ABAP Program          SAPLOLEA

Application Component          BC-FES-OAC "

I have gone through some blogs and was wondering why we need sapgui latest patch/upgrade as we are using internet link to access the documents. I am attaching the dump. Can you please guide me in this?

First of all: thank you for using the search function of SCN. But in this case (a 7 years old thread) it may be a better idea to create a new disussion.

I am currently trying to install the SAPGUI from the download page, but having gone through all docs. I have not found the answer to the 2 questions before installing:

Host

Port,

Host is probably localhost or the PC name but port suggested is 21212, which is not possible ?

I have also tried to disable my firewall with no luck.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks.

Hi Peter,

HOST is ur compter name

Are u trying to install in a stand alone pc or network?

if u are installing in a stand alone pc then u have to install microsoft loop back adapter and u have to assign a ip address like 192.168.1.10 in this format and the same ip address and the PC name u have to enter in the c:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file

Is it consistant? Does it happen every time you try to logon? Are you running SAPgui 6.40? If so, do you have the lastest patches applied to the gui? This sounds like a frontend error to me. You will need SAPgui 6.40, I would suggest to download the latest patch also. Install and try again.
