distribution with reference

Hello BPS Experts,

I have a requirement to distribute the sales forecast data according to the last year actual sales. I understand that this can be acheived by doing distribute with refernce planning function. Pleae correct me if i am wrong.

did any one try this before. it would be greate if someone could explain me the procedure.
