03 - inprocess inspection produces one inspection lot at order create. I have 2 scenarios

1)I want to create multiple in-process inspection lots for process order. How to set this up?

2)I want to create in-process inspection lot fo process order , but UD accept, should post the component back to process order for consumption , UD-reject should put the sample size component scrap

Dear rajendrasapz,

thank you for the details provided.

The lot origin 03 is not stock-relevant, which means you cannot post stock with such lots during usage decision.

See SAP Help

'Stock Management in QM'

"...
Processing materials as non-stock-relevant goods
...
- 03 Production
...

Posting stock-relevant materials to inspection stock
...
- 04 Goods receipt from production
..."

As you can see the lot origin 04 is stock-relevant, which can be generated with the goods receipt (GR) to the process order.

However, there is a lot type called "early 04", which is triggered during the process order release. With the GR this early lot is then converted to a regular 04 lot.

See SAP Help:

'Early Inspection for a Goods Receipt'

Also, I recommend to review the inspection points option instead of the multiple inspection lots for same order. It might be an easier approach to reach your goal.

'Inspection Point'

Have a nice day,
Albert
