You have below logic extension options for SAC in a stand alone scenario. There is no BADI equivalent in SAC when coming from BPC point of view. Also SAC Advanced formula is more rich with options when compared to Script logic.

1. Advance formula, just like script logic(of BPC standard) or fox formula( of BPC embedded), you can write your complex calculation logic. This is capable enough to handle a variety of calculation scenarios

2. Analytics Designer : This is mostly for UX and can be used to design custom interaction for end users ..more like a guided navigation kind of layout.

If SAC is being used in a hybrid setup with BPC (Standard/Embedded), Custom BADI's or Planning Function based on ABAP can be used for very complex logic and data intensive scenarios. SAC can have a bi directional (import/export) setup with BPC so anything which cannot be achieved via SAV Advanced formula can be pushed to backend BPC and results can be imported back to SAC. SAC allows to trigger planning function from stories too.

You have an option to create a calculated column with measures than add you aggregation on it.

You have analytic designer applications that allow you scripting capabilities. And all SAC Enterprise tenants have that option by default.

Hi Ashutosh,

Thank you.

I am very new to SAC so sorry for my ignorance. you mean Java scripting should be used for complex allocations which cant be done using Advanced Formulas.

As nikhil pointed out above, Analytics designer scripting cannot help you with complex allocations.
