Crystal Reports not working on Windows 11 but they work just fine on Windows 10

Anyone else having problems running their Crystal Reports on Windows 11 Computers? Our Crystal Reports work just fine on Windows 10 computers but when it comes to running them on Windows 11 Computers it is a joke. We don't get any error message or nothing. The report just sits there. Mainly having problems with reports that pull dates and case number data. Any ideas to try to get the reports to run on Windows 11 Computers?

What version of Crystal are you using? Please go to Help >> About and get the full version number.

Hi Kim,

Not asking you to re-create all reports, just test to see if a new report works.

Check the logs, typical issues like this is due to Firewall and Anti-virus settings blocking access to the WEB, CR's home page, or resources.

Have them right click on crw32.exe and select "Run as Administrator", could be a permission issue also, that may not pop up anything either.

Look in the Event Viewer also, it may show something is be denied access.

I've used it and have no issues, except when Images are used, CR requires Paint to be installed to render images.

Crystal Reports 2020 is supported on Windows 11.

CR 2020 is a 64 bit application so it requires a 64 bit Client be installed.

What happen if you create a new report?

What Data source are you connecting to?

Thanks for your help Don.

We are using the reports on a 64 bit Client computer.

Haven't tried to recreate the new reports as that would take for every to do as we have so many.

We are pulling the data from our data people off a server.

What I don't get is CR is working just fine on a 64 bit Client computer that is running Windows 10 but will not work on Windows 11.
