Extending of useful life of an assets

Good day Everyone.

Management just requested me to extend the useful life of few assets in our FAR which are capitalized few years back. E.G an asset was capitalized in 2020/08/01 with a life of 5yr it has already depreciated for 1yr 5month and we want the life to be 10years now and depreciation for prior year should not be affect. i try the testing of changing useful on BOQ using Tcode AS02 and gave me an error message

how can i handle this situation, any assist please

close 2021 year in AA modul.

Change the usful life as 10 years in As02 and also add th einterval in time dependent data, from whenyou want to start this chnage. System will consider the depreciation for 10 years
