SAP Test Automation Tool - Can't run a Testplan

Hi,

I am able to start a test run but the coverage is still 0 %.

I think the problem is that they couldn't find any data like you can see in the attached screen.

I attached another screen where you can see that i created a new variant with values. So why they can't find any data in the automated testcases?

I am not able to upload screenshots here. So in the Progress Logs is the following entry:

Executed: Without Test Data Container Variants

In that case, I believe your issue needs a deep dive investigation. I would request you to please open a ticket/incident on this component- CA-CTT-S4C

Hi Marie,
Could you please check your Test Data Container (TDC) in the Test Data Container app to see if you have assign values and added a variant for your TDC.

Please find attached screenshot for the same.

Add Variant to your TDC:

Edit the variant and enter the values for those variants in the Field Value

I tried your solution but I'm still having the same issue that the is "No Data" - Could there be another reason?

Hi,

its only for a particular test plan and I choose the option execute with Variants, but I still get the message that there is no data .

So what else cloud be the problem?

Hi Marie,
Is it only for a particular test plan or all the test plans?
If it is for all the test plans, please refer to this answer - https://answers.sap.com/questions/13667713/sap-test-automation-tool-cannot-execute-any-test-p.html
where I've explained the possible reason for the automation not being executed.

If the issue is with only 1 test plan, attach the screenshot of the issue.
Also, when you hit the Execute button, please choose the option as execute with Variants, in that case, your data from the variants will be picked up during the execution.
