Unable to upload the MCS solution developed by one partner another partner tenant

Hi All,

Need help if someone faced a similar issue.

Partner A supports Customer Y for the development and implements the development in 2019. Currently, Partner A wants to close the operation and Partner B going to take ownership of the solution to support the customer for any update/bug in the solution.

When we upload the MCS solution to the Partner B development tenant, we encounter the below error.

Error: Upload not allowed. The solution is developed for customer ZZZZZZ.

Development Tenants can switch customer context.

In SAP Cloud Applications Studio, log onto the customer's test/production tenant. Hover over the root of the Solutions panel. There you can see the Customer's ID.

In SAP Cloud Applications Studio, log on to your Development Tenant. Under Administration, select Switch Customer.

There add the customer using the correct ID (the name is internal only, so you can enter what you prefer). Confirm you want to switch to the customer (this will log you off).

Log back on to your Development Tenant.

Now you are working in the context of that customer so you should be able to upload the solution.

We tried all the options but encountered the error message below.

Approach 1

1. We tried switch customer to ID "111111111" ( Customer A)

2. System asks for the MCS Key we entered key for Customer A

3. Now encountered the error message as below

Installation key for the multi-customer solution requested.

Uploading the solution...

Info: Solution name is changed from Y_ into Y_ during deployment.

Info: Multi-customer solution Y_ already registered for customer ID 111111111.

Info: Solution name is changed from Y_ into Y_ during deployment.

Error: Upload not allowed. Solution is developed for customer 22222222.

Approach 2

1. We tried without switch Customer ( default Partner B - Partner Development Tenant )

2. System asks for the MCS Key we entered key for Partner B

3. Now encountered the error message as below.

Info: Solution name is changed from Y_ into Y_ during deployment.

Info: Multi-customer solution Y_ already registered for customer ID 33333333.

Info: Solution name is changed from Y_ into Y_ during deployment.

Error: Upload not allowed. Solution is developed for customer 22222222.

Approach 3

1. We tried switch customer to "33333333" ( Partner A)

2. The system asks for the MCS Key we entered key for Partner B

3. Now encountered the error message as below.

Info: Solution name is changed from Y_ into Y_ during deployment.

Info: Solution name is changed from Y_ into Y_ during deployment.

Error: Upload not allowed. Solution is developed for customer 222222222.

Error: Unable to import files for solution Y_. See preceding message.
