Hi Guys,
I am doing a formula in a SAC table, dividing the result of a cell by the result of another cell. And when I change one of the history filters, the cell reference is lost and the formula gives me the following error: REF_ERR.
Do you know what is happening and how can I fix it?

Patricia.

The table based formula works on cell references. These are best suited for static layout tables (fixed column and rows). If the filters change the layout of the table the, cell references will change and will impact your formulas. There is now way for the formula to auto adjust the cell reference based on layout change. The references have to be manually adjusted. You can explore calculated measures for the calculations.

Hi Nikhil,
I'm working on a calculation in a table, but what you shared isn't working for me. I have a table with four columns, where each column relates to a different version and date depending on the user's selection. Thus, there's a requirement to calculate variations between these versions. The problem arises when the user only selects three versions; one column remains empty. How can I handle this calculation? If I use a custom calculation, it duplicates due to the versions and dates, and I can't omit these two fields since they need to be visible.
I'll be attentive to your response.
Thank you.
go to the cell reference Field and change the reference column where you make the reference in sac.

Hi,
The formula in the table work on a cell reference, whenever we apply any filter SAC understands that the cell reference got changed that's why it is showing an error.
