Hi All,
We have pensioners with active status in our Employee Central system whose payroll data is replicated to the Payroll system. Pensioners are accessing the SF EC system to view the pay slip/ pension slip. Right now, they are on EC full User license. This is the reason why pensioners are on full EC license at the moment.
We want to move them to functional licenses and hence we are looking at options where pensioners can get their payslips ( via automatic notifications or similar).
Please provide suggestions as how pensioners are maintained in the effective way so that they will be under Functional License.
Kind Regards
Priya Kohli
The answer is not that simple as every module has different strategies to do so as indicated here:
SAP SuccessFactors License Compliance | SAP Help Portal (also per module)
Following the requirements:
Total number of Active Functional Users is the count of Authorized Users with an active profile and with active employment information stored in Employee Central AND meet the following criteria:
Hearing your use case, it could make most sense going for this use case:
"User is recorded and maintained in the Employee Central, but the user isn’t given access to the system." (so that would be RBP changes I reckon - definitely worth testing).
