TO validate the input of select option immediately after entering the value?

Hi All!

I am trying to validate the select option input value.

I am currently able to validate the value using AT SELECTION SCREEN event.

But the problem is this validation occurs only after clicking the execute button.

Now the requirement is: The validation must happen right immediately after i jump to another field in the screen.

i.e once i enter the value in select options field and if i am going to enter the value in another field an error message should state that Invalid value.
