Change Crystal Reports ODBC SQL ACCESS MODE


I am currently using Crystal Reports 2016. I'm trying run an a database command that makes a call to an ODBC connection (IBM iSeries). When I try doing this I get an error stating that the Connection is set to read only. I've looked on IBM support site and I've changed my ODBC connection to AllowProcCalls, which now equals 1. However, I'm still getting the same error message. It's been suggested that the issue is with Crystal Reports ODBC SQL_ACCESS_MODE being set to Read-Only. Is there any way to change this so that my database command will run successfully?
