SAP / Oracle / Azure

All,

We have made the decision to move our on-premise towards Azure.
Today we are running several SAP applications on SUSE 12 Linux with Oracle19c database.

As Oracle on SUSE in Azure is not a good, nor certified setup we were thinking about the following solution:

Creating a separate ORACLE Database server on Windows (we prefer not to go to Oracle Linux). For the Central Instance and application servers, we would like to keep SUSE to minimize application impact.

Can you share your thoughts on this? Is this a valid and certified solution? Could running the Oracle client software on SUSE would be an issue?
