SAP WM: Putaway a Pallet with multiple batch of same material

Hi,

My customer creates pallets of multiple batches, same material. These pallets need to be putaway in the warehouse.

We have created HU (with HU02) and transferred the HU to the WM storage location (using VLMOVE, 311 mvt type). The stock now lies in 921 storage type, 2 separate lines, each with the same storage unit number (as expected).

The problem comes now. When I try to create TO for putaway, system creates 2 different TO, with 2 different SU (new SU numbers). But we want the same SU number to be putaway as the single pallet.

Where am I making mistake ?

Thanks for your help.

Regards.

  • Wait a minute.. I just re-read your post. Did you make 921 SU managed?

  • The stock now lies in 921 storage type, 2 separate lines, each with the same storage unit number (as expected).

Check individual field (Quant parameter) is that same for both the line

Can you please share screen shot with quant detail which will help to identify what parameter separate system to create two different SU

    Hi Sumit,
Are you using capacity check? If yes, what is the capacity check method you have used?

      Dear Sumit,

What is the putaway strategy you are using and is the "Addn to stock" indicator checked in your customizing?

      Regards,

How are you creating the TOs, have you explored using ID-points or LT0A to prepare the SUs?

    • LT10 will never know which materials go together on a pallet. You will have to explore another method which involve some amount of user intervention to say that a set of material / batch / quantity belong together. This could be ID-Points, LT0A like I said above or even a custom RF program. If the material is coming in from a known source, is it possible to get an EDI document with the palletization ahead of time?
