How to avoid the error message "Custom Field name is not valid"?

Dear SAP,

When trying to create a Custom Field with YY1_EXAMPLE ID, the following error is returned: "Custom Field YY1_EXAMPLE: Name is not valid. It is already in use.".

How can I avoid this error message?

Dear customer,

Currently in SAP S/4HANA Cloud is not possible to create a new Custom Field with the same ID as a deleted Custom Field. You will need to create a new field using a different ID to avoid this error.
