Hi Rami,

thanks for raising the question.

The deletion of planning data of periods in past falls under data destruction. Please find details under Destroying Product Allocation Data.

There are two possibilities to run the destruction. You can for instance run report AATP_PROD_ALLOC_DES via se38 or you can use ILM data destruction.

Andreas

Hello Andreas

Thanks you very much

I have one more query.....

We plan to work for 2,000 products and over 20,000 customers, with a total number of
records in the millions.

How can we deal with this? , I believe we can use customer classification and a system to distribute quantity equally in customers who are in the same class as something like aggregration and disacggrgration?

But I'm not sure I can do it ?

Kindly Advise

Regards

Rami

Hi Rami,

it is difficult to give concrete advice or consult you on specific customer requirements as not all aspects/conditions are known.

In aATP there is no functionality yet that covers the topic of fair share, where you can distribute supply equally to customers etc.

With PAL you can define a maximum quantity a customer or customer group can get. Besides customer of course also other characteristics can be used, like region/distribution channel. This might lower the number of records. But as said, this defines a maximum and therefore one customer might still not get quantity in case supply is less.

In case you would like to protect supply for certain customers, groups or distribution channels then you might want to checkout Supply Protection in aATP. Based on characteristics you can protect certain supply such that other do not steal it. Please find and introduction on that topic in blog Increasing Reliability with Supply Protection.

Andreas
