CVI Cockpit Precheck - customer number not in a range

Hello,

we are preparing for the CVI transition to ECC 6.0.

In the system we have customer and vendor groups that have a number overlap. That's why we cleaned up the duplicates between the customers and vendors so that we can keep the previous numbers for the BP. It means, there is no number that is assigned to both a customer and a vendor at the same time.

In the next step, we ran the CVI_PRECHK test report to check the data quality and clean up the errors.

During the run, the following error message came up en masse: "Customer number 00xxxxxxxx is not in the range 0000400000 and 0000499999.". The customer numbers are outside of the intervals (don't know why yet, but it's secondary at first).

I'm wondering if this error needs to be solved - if yes - how? Or is it enough if we set the number intervals for the BP groups in such a way that these master data with an error then remain within the new interval ...

Thanks in advance for your answers!
