How to efficiently delete master data from a dimension?

Hi community,

What to do when a lot of new elements are loaded into a dimension which are all incorrect due to a wrong mapping?

I have a problem within my dimension where one of the import jobs was mapped wrong. Due to this mistake, a lot of new members entered the dimension and are causing performance troubles. I wish to delete these incorrect elements.

I have tried to filter them (since the description is empty for all members) and manually hit delete after selecting every element. However, my browser showed a warning that the webpage was not loading anymore. And after some time, the browser even crashed. This is probably caused by the fact that there are over 30,000 elements in the dimension and SAC is checking whether there is booked data on any of the elements.

Any advice on how to conveniently delete members from a dimension without taking a lot of time?
