POD and Installation - SAP ISU

In which case there will be multiple installations for 1 single POD , because there is a possibility given by SAP in POD screen to maintain multiple installations for a single POD...but generally we dont maintain multiple installations for single POD..

When will be there a scenario where multiple installations will be maintained for single POD.. because installation will be linked to aingle BP and if there are multiple installations for given POD , how will market transactions be handled ?

It's allowed to link multiple installations to a single POD when the installations belong to different service types e.g. "Distribution" and "Supply". This is relevant in deregulated scenarios when distributor and supplier reside on the same client.
