Document Numbering Formats for France and Italy

Hi All,

May I know why the document type for document numbering formats in Italy can only select All Documents?

From what I understand is because Italy's local regulation will use the same numbering formats for customer invoicing. Any reference that I can refer please advise.

Hello hy_99,

It is legal requirement in Italy that numbering rule should be same for all document types (Customer invoice, Credit Memo).

Relevant KBA:

2705276 - Document Type All Documents not available in the Document Numbering Formats for Customer Invoicing.

1857437 - The Customer Invoicing Numbering Rule for Italy Has Only the Possibility to Have the Same Rule for All Invoice Types except Down payment Invoices.

Hello Toh,

Refer to help document - Document Numbering Formats for Customer Invoicing - Configuration Guide

- Define Document Numbering Formats for France and Italy

- Follow step 1 as in Document Numbering Formats for Other Countries.

- For France, under Document Type, select a document type. For Italy, under Document Type, select ”All documents”.

- Under Customer Location, select a location the from the list.
