Reset number range of Serial Number Management and Auto trigger of Final Phase in COR6N

Dear Experts,

I need suggestions for below two points

1. The product customer is manufacturing are all having drum packing, Each drum is having one serial number. During the Goods Receipt of production order, the serial number gets created automatically in the background. The same serial number was used for Quality Inspection and Delivery against the sales order. Since the serial number is the continuous number for material but the user wants to reset the serial number. As soon as the month changes the serial number should start from 1 again. It is possible to map the above requirement and if done what will be challenges or issues might come in the future?

2. In the recipe there are multiple phases 20,40,60 and 80. They are using the milestone confirmation and confirming only the last phase. When doing the COR6N, the User has to enter manually the last phase they want is should automatically pick the confirmable operation that is the last phase of operation.

I have done it in the discrete scenario but in Phase-wise confirmation the same setting is not working, Please suggest.

You have 2 Possibilities

1.Manualy enter the Serial number while they doing the Goods Receipt

2. You can edit the serial number from IQ02 but this is not a best practice because I think .
