Material to be used as MTS and MTO at the same time in SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Is it possible to set up a material to be used as MTS and MTO at the same time ?

Tthis can be done with the caveat as we havent come across this scenario in Public Cloud we checked it from an On-Prem point of view. Check this thread - https://answers.sap.com/questions/9505000/can-we-use-same-material-for-mto-and-mts.html and hope you can find the same for the configuration activities in the S/4HANA Cloud and setup accordingly.

I need your help in this customer scenario: Customer manages MTO and MTS in OP by creating a separate order type for both, then customer does the assignment of requirement type KE(MTO) and 041(MTS) accordingly. However, in S/4HANA Cloud there is no possibility to create an order type.

My questions is:

1. How can customer manage MTO and MTS processes when a material is sold in both ways? There is any workaround to the one mentioned above?
