Is it possible to add data labels to geo maps?

Hi,

I would like to show labels with the values of a metric in a choropleth layer of a geo map, but I don´t find the option.

It seems that I can only show colour ranges but not actual values, eg Sales for each region, Market Share or any other metric.

Hi,

You can use a tooltip to display the label with the values.

Adding a tooltip will give you information about the particular color range after hovering.

Thanks! Sorry I somehow missed your comment, so I never answered.

The requirement I have been given is to show directly the labels without having to hoover over the map ot see them. So they can export the story to pdf and still see the numbers behind.

Hi,

As per the new updates, when you create a Geo Map in "Optimized design experience" you will get that option

to show numeric values without hovering over the map.
