SAP Universal ID on for BTP platform Cloud Foundry EU10 vs EU30

I noticed today that there is a difference in authentication for Cloud Foundry between EU10 (AWS) and EU30 (GCP):

• https://login.cf.eu10.hana.ondemand.com/passcode: SAP Universal ID (greeted with email/username input first)
• https://login.cf.eu30.hana.ondemand.com/passcode: SAP ID (greeted with email/username and password)

Why is there a difference?

Can I control this in any way?
