Delete or modify Cash Journal transactions

Is it possible to delete / deactivate cash journal transactions?

I see in FBCJC2 that its possible to delete entries there but due the transaction codes where used in the past I'm not sure weather I can delete them here without second thoughts.

Further what do I have to keep in mind if I want to change transactions there?
