Material Creation error for Non Stock Material Type Only

When creating a material using MM01 for non stock material type, it brings up an error message "Internal Number already Exist". This only happens to a non stock material type, others material types are been created successfully.

I checked the number assignment for the non stock material type and its an internal number range.
