I know essentially nothing about this and am here as a last resort after contacting the maker of my PC and the programmer of the program that uses Crystal Reports that is causing a problem. When I start or restart my machine and try to access a Crystal Reports function of the program it works fine. However, if I wait 1-2 minutes and then try I get "RPC server is unavailable" without fail. If I restart and immediately try to run a report, no problem. If I wait a minute or two? "RPC server is unavailable." If I (re)start the machine, run a report and it works, and then wait another minute or two and try again? "RPC server is unavailable." So there is something happening about a minute or two after the machine (re)starts that is causing this problem and only this problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program that uses Crystal where this is happening to no avail. Has anyone ever seen this? Any help would be appreciated.
