Dear Harish Rajguru,

thank you for the details provided.

My remarks to your questions:

1. How to shorten the maximum skip duration directly in the quality level.

You cannot in the standard. Please read KBA:

1847002 - Quality level does not change as expected according to Maximum skip duration of DMR when creating inspection lot automatically or using transaction QA01

Nevertheless, the last part of the KBA refers to user exit QDSE0002, if you wish to change the standard system logic.

2. What about reset date.if we will change it directly in the quality level will system switch the stage to initial stage?

F1 Help of the field 'Reset Date' tells how this field works:

"Reset Date of Quality Level

Specifies the date when the quality level will revert to and use the initial inspection stage of the dynamic modification rule.

Use

For each change to the quality level that is made without the transaction "Change quality level", the system recalculates the reset date for the quality level.

This occurs, for example, in the following cases:

- When the quality level is updated as a result of an inspection lot being created or a usage decision being made

- When the quality level is tightened or reset through the use of the evaluation program for quality levels

- When the quality level is tightened or reset using a quality notification

You can change the calculated reset date at any time using the transaction "Change quality level".

If the reset date for the quality level is reached or has been exceeded at lot creation, the inspection stage reverts to the initial stage specified in the dynamic modification rule.

Dependencies

The system calculates the reset date using the value in the field reset time period in days in the dynamic modification rule."

3. what will be the new reset date after that?

See 'Dependencies' section of the F1 Help in question 2:

"...Dependencies
The system calculates the reset date using the value in the field reset time period in days in the dynamic modification rule.
..."

Also, I recommend to read the F1 Help of field 'Reset Period (Days)':

"Reset Time Period for Quality Level in Days

Specifies the time period in days, after which the quality level reverts to the initial inspection stage.

Use

If you enter a reset time period in the dynamic modification rule, the system automatically recalculates and updates the reset date in the quality level on each update or correction of the quality level.

Using the transaction "Change quality level" you can overwrite the reset date entered by the system.

When an inspection lot is created, the system checks if the reset date for the quality level has been reached or exceeded at each sample calculation. In such a case, it resets the qualiy level to the initial stage of the dynamic modification rule and uses this initial stage for the current inspection lot."

Have a nice day,
Albert
