I recorded and when reviewing I noticed that it lags about 5-10 seconds to long between steps. How do I shorten the time?

I suffered from this issue few days ago and the reason behind is surely slow network speed. I was playing a simulation in Citrix VDI, then it laged for 5-10 seconds. Then I changed my network connection, then it was running smooth.

For Demo mode, the timing's on the Interaction Macro.

Select the interaction macro (mouse click, input text, etc.). Under the Demo Bubble you'll see the "Display Duration" setting. This is the time in seconds.

Default display duration is 4 seconds.

No I have already done that. What I mean is their is a long lag between steps or slides. The transition is to long between the slides or steps.

The setting mentioned by Susan is the only setting that controls this' anything else will be a network speed issue. I did put in a Customer Improvement Request to 'pre-load' the next step to speed up transitions, but that was a couple of years ago, so clearly not a priority - although you can go vote it up. (Interestingly, if you look at the Trainer Style resource under Progress Bar there is a color option for Preloaded so maybe this was considered at one stage...)
