Hi Mallika,
If you want to delete the G/L Account just logically from the MDG-F staging tables than you should use the Delete button in the SOM UI or e.g. delete the account via file upload using upload made Delete All and Add Records. These actions will logically delete the entry, i.e. the flag will be set for the field Obsolete in the MDG-F staging tables and you won't see those in the UI anymore, but the entries will remain physically in the MDG-F flex staging tables.
If you want to delete the entry also physically from the mDG-F flex staging tables than you should follow the SAP Note 2574330.

Hi Attila,
I am now confused about how to physically delete the staging data in MDG. Your mentioned SAP Note 2574330 only talk about the deletion/achieve of MDG change requests, but I only want to remove the entries of MDG staging data not the change request.
Do you have any ideas about how to delete entries for those items with obsolete flag? Is there any MDG API methods or I have to use ABAP SQL delete these entries directly from staging tables?

Hi Thomas,
the report USMD_DELETE_CREQUEST referenced in the note 2574330 deletes the change requests and their associated inactive master data in the current client. If you want to delete active data, than you should follow the archiving procedure as described in the note 2574330.
