Consolidation Unit OM01 is outside of selections - What does it mean?

Hi Experts,

I have defined a new Cons Unit OW01 in Group Reporting and assigned this cons unit to the Group structure. The upload method is "flexible upload" instead of "read from universal journal".

But when I go and run the data collection task by uploading the data for this cons unit I am getting the following message:

Consolidation Unit OM01 is outside of selections

Diagnosis

Inthe present context, characteristic Consolidation Unit is limited to a fixed area. However characteristic value OM01 is outside the corresponding selection .

System Response

The current data record is not be written

Procedure

If possible, only use data records which are valid in the respective context.

Would you please let me know how I can fix this error.
