Exclude non-working hours in Avg Cycle time in Signavio Process Intelligence

While calculating the Avg Cycle time, is it possible to exclude non-working hours/weekends from the cycle time calculation? OR, can we upload a factory/enterprise calendar in Signavio PI so that we have a more accurate representation on the avg cycle time?

Hi payel_bera,

great question. So far, it is not out-of-the-box possible to calculate those cycle times as requested.

However, two points on this topic:
1. we have collected the feedback already and backlogged it.
2. there are always workarounds to achieve the same. Since SAP Signavio Process Intelligence allows to upload/process any table we have seen customers e.g. doing the following:

I would like to make to example ideas on how one could perform the workaround:

2a) Extract/use the SAP factory calendar (if we talk about an SAP ERP system and that calendar exists) by processing the table within the event log (e.g. combine the table with the normal cade and event log)
2b) Create a custom calendar table and perform a similar step like 2a. Here, the table would need to be set up by country or even region to be very accurate, also the resulting step "location" is necessary.
Example: If "create invoice" is performed in the country India and "pay an invoice" is performed in Germany, the person implementing would need to know the respective public holidays (in Germany it depends even on the region) and where precisely the invoice was paid. But for a 90-95% solution this could be an option.

Bottom Line: It is not out of the box possible, but with a bit of a tech-savy or SQL-savy person this could be achieved with workarounds.
