Couple of Command questions

In a command, can I use a formula, from the Report? and could I access another command within the first command?

No, it is not possible to use a formula from the report.

One of the reasons, it's because a Command Object is a way to write your own SQL Query to fetch the data from the data source.
If you need to perform some concatenation, or calculation, you should add it in your SQL Query.

Also, you cannot call one SQL Query written in one Command Object, within another Command Object. Each command object are SQL Query. If you are to use a Command Object, the best practice will be to only have one on the report to fetch all the desired data set from your data source. It is possible to have multiple command object linked on the report, but at the cost of performance, because each command object will retreive the data set from the data source, then in a temp directory, of your local computer, it will then have to perform the linking of each of the data set, which will be inneficient, and time consuming.

Looks like you might want to create a stored procedure on your database, but since we are not sure of the reasons behind those questions, I will suggest to provide information on what you are trying to acheive, and people from the SAP Community may have suggestions on how you could potentially acheive it.
