Hi,
We need to configure Mobile Secure to push out o365 account information to company iPhone's via policy. We use the Exchange AciveSync policy template and use "outlook.office365.com" as the host name. We then use %S.ExchangeUser% as the username, and %S.ExchangeUser%@domainname.com as the email address. We leave the password empty so it will prompt the user for the password.
When we push the policy to the phone, the policy installs correctly, but we get an "Unable to verify account information". We use the ISO native mail client on the iPhone. If we manually configure the email on the iPhone, we are presented with the Microsoft logon screen, and after providing the credentials, the email connects and downloads the emails from O365.
I have included pictures of the policy and of the error we get on the phones. Can someone please take a look and let us know if you see something that we are doing wrong, or if we are missing a policy from our system.o365.jpgpolicy.png
Hi Andre,
On our machine here for O365 we have the following in the policy
Enabled checked
Name: yourName
Host: outlook.office365.com
Allow Move checked
Recent Address Syncing: checked
Use SSL: checked
User: myUser@domain.com
Email Address: myUser@domain.com
We actually don't have anything at all in the systems server configuration.
With the above policy, if you don't fill in a password it prompts on native mail and then pulls.
Can you give that a try?
All the best
Tracy
