Page Unresponsive while Importing in SEN

When I try to import standard content from another workarea (Extended), I need to choose the workarea from the list. While choosing it, Manager is not responding and showing below error.

I tried many times and I still get unresponsive message. Do I need to set any registry in my PC or change any time duration in server settings?

Note: This error occurs not while importing from workarea. But while choosing the workarea to import.

You'll see that happen with very large Workareas - SAP Enable Now is retrieving the list of ALL content in the Workarea and building the selection list. You can increase your server timeout settings, bit for large workareas it is better to use the standard Export/Import steps and not this feature.

Will I face any issues if I use Export archive option to export Standard S4HANA content and import in my main workarea? Like future updates issues? Thanks for the reply Dirk.

Ohhh, so you are trying to export Standard (SAP-provided) Content? Well, the first problem is that yes, the Standard S/4 Workarea is HUGE because it contains content for multiple releases. And you probably don't want ALL of that.

The next problem is that I don't believe you can actually export content from a Standard Workarea (deliberately). What you should really be doing if you want to use it is Connect the Standard Workarea and then Extend it into your own Workarea.

Finally, if you export Standard Content you are taking a COPY of the Standard Content, and this copy will NOT be updated if the Standard Content is updated by SAP. Again, that's what the Connected feature is for.
