PM and PP-PI integration

When setting the system condition to "not in service" in a maintenance order header i am not seeing any reduction in capacity (008 processing unit) on the resource (workcentre) assigned to the equipment. Is this functionality only compatible with PP? or can it also be used with PP-PI? The customizing looks good system is S4 1909
