Hi Nitin,

This is the standrad sesstings of the REM Profile with SAP rececommended Movemen t Types.
If the Material is getting posted with 531 movement Type menas, that declared as as By-Product in the BOM Components,( with Negatuive Quantity). REM Profile is nothing to do with this.
Root cause >> for Posting with Movemen type : 531 is, Materila is declared with Negatuve Qty in the BOM
Action to be taken : Please Check your BOM components of the Header Materials, for any chnages , if required.

Hope this Helps. Kindly Check & Confirm.
Thanks & Regards : Raja

Hi Raja,

Thanks for the detailed report. No where the material is in negative value as it is raw material required for the job.

Only defect I found was, Material type is not defined for task list type. - Is this the problem?

Thanks and regards,

Nithin

Hi Nitin,

If, Possible, Could you Please share the BOM ? ( Item Details screen)
For the Raw Material >> You are not creating the Task List, Correct ? ( Then, it may not have any significance)
Thanks & Regards : Raja

Hi Raja,

I am not supposed to share the screenshot, really sorry for that.

For Semi finished Task List is not defined. When i try to open Routing for semi finished am getting error Message no. CT761

In CS11 transaction, all the components for a semi finished and finished product is positive only.

Thanks and regards,

Nithin

HI Nitin,

as per Standard behavior System will not post 531( by product Goods receipt while doing goods issue in MIGO) unless the component is Maintained with negative Quantity in BOM, if system is posting 531 without maintaining negative quantity better to check for SAP OSS solution.

Thanks & Regards,

Mahesh kumar.

Hi Nitin

Is it realted to the Repetetive Manufacturing ?
If it is REM Scenario >>> As mentioned in the above Answers , 531 movement will trigger for the By-product
Please take a look of the REM Profile settings( Just for quick ref)
If still have questions, Please revert back, with more details
Thanks & Regards : Raja

Hi Raja Sekhara,

Hi nithinbarkur

OPKA (table TCOKO) defines the movement type per posting. You'll find your answer there.

However, you initially wrote 561, now you wrote 531 - which are goods receipts for a by-products. By-product are defined in the BOM with a negative quantity, thus leading to a stock increase.

Kindly review and please do share screenshots as previously suggested by Raheel Babar

Hi Jan Buchmann,

Sorry it was mistake from my side, the movement type happening is 531, but there is no negative quantity in BOM.

It is packing material and stock of packing material is increasing. It is suppose to decrease.

I am not supposed to share screenshots really sorry for that.

Thanks and regards,

Nithin

Kindly review config in OPKA

Hi Jan Buchmann,

Thanks for the reply,

Instead of movement type 261, 531 is triggered. Because of this stock of raw material is increasing.

I need to the reason for this and I do not have the access for OPKA

Nithin
