How do I skip basic data from MARA while using Direct Batch Input?

MARA from target system is already filled with the materials, so I have to skip this while LSMW converting using RMDATIND program for Batch Input.

1) How do I skip the basic view? By simply not filling the MARA fields in the BMM00 structure?

In MARC from target system, there is a template plant 'xxxx' having some materials. These materials from plant 'xxxx' have to be created with the same data for plant 'yyyy'. I did the coding for the fields (some simple SELECT statements), but while conversion, no data is being fetched for the desired fields.

2) Why isn't any data fetched for coded fields in the BMHH1 structure? How can I fix this?

Please support!

As no one provided any help, I got to the conclusion that both questions can be solved with the PSTAT field.

The PSTAT value which we see in MARA is built up from the various views we create when we create the material with classical MM01. As for material creation with LSMW, Direct Batch Input, for example, if we set BMM00-XEIK1 = ‘X’, this will indicate to the Batch Input program RMDATIND that the new material should have a Basic Data view AND we will also see a ‘K’ in the corresponding PSTAT field in MARA.
