Our APO demand planning model, extracts the sales from BW on a monthly basis, load them into a cube in APO, and generates the characteristics combinations which are loaded in the planning area.
Two years ago the business stopped using a distribution channel, in this case called R2, meaning the buisness does not make new sales using R2; nevertheless every month appear new sales for distribution channel R2 in spite of no sales habe been donde for this channel.
Tx code MSDP_ADMIN shows the planning areas still have characteristic combinations using R2 which are kept by the business for historic purposes; the source cube in BW and the sales cube in APO only have info with R2 for year 2020, so we can not understand why even today on July 2022, in the planning area appear sales for R2.
I also checked routines in transformations and data transfer process and nothing shows to be the reason there so far.
